Pre-1826 Projects
JRI-Poland has developed a collection of data from early historical records that may be invaluable in identifying earlier ancestors. These are the mixed (Jewish and non-Jewish) civil-parish or civil-gmina registers within the Duchy of Warsaw or Congress Poland from 1808 to 1826 and census collections from the 1700s in the Austro-Hungarian Empire or the Grand Duchy of Lithuania.
