Join us for a JRI-Poland Members Only session about how patronymic names were used in our ancestors records in the current and former territories of Poland. Judy Golan, JRI-Poland Research Area Coordinator for multiple areas within Congress Poland will lead this presentation designed  to explain what you may encounter in the Polish language records in the years before many of our ancestors took permanent surnames.  Roger Lustig (Prussia)  and Mark Halpern (Galicia) will be on hand to explain what JRI-Poland researchers can expect to find in the Prussian and Galicianer records within the JRI-Poland database and how they may differ from the Congress Poland records. There will be about a 35 minute presentation followed by panel discussion with accompanying Questions & Answers.  Session will be recorded and both the attendance and access to the on-demand video will be available for Members Only.
